About

My name is Selvaggia Messi, I am a Filmmaker and Art Director. I graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts ('18) with a BA in Film and Television Production, where I produced my first short film 'She has your eyes (13'') which went on the be selected at New Faces, New Voices, The First time Filmmaker Session and Sguardi Altrove film festival.
 
I spent my remaining time in NYC working in production, as a freelance Director and Set Designer before returning home to Italy, where I spent a year working as a content creator at the Piccolo Teatro d'Europa. 

I continued my studies in communication with an MA in Creative Direction at the European Institute of Design, IED Milano (2020 -2021), and I am currently working as a Junior Art Director at Wunderman Thompson.
